I'm pretty proud of this one. This was my first Acrylic painting ever! It started as a simple line drawing of one of the art room plants. Both sides of the board this was painted on had to be gessoed and sanded. I copied the line drawing on the board using transfer paper and then divided it into four sections, taped it off, and began to paint it. The four sections were done using different color schemes. ((From right to left)) The top right is Analogous, the top middle is Monochromatic, the top left is Complimentary, and the entire bottom section is Split-Complimentary. |
